Cricket Star Shreyas Iyer Supports Go Dharmic's Mission with Jersey Donation

Mumbai, Maharashtra -26 September. The Go Dharmic Mumbai Gala 2025, organised at the MCA Club in BKC, saw the stealing of limelight by cricket star Shreyas Iyer. He auctioned off his cricket jersey.

His donation was a centre point of the auction that generated over 20,000 pounds to support humanitarian activities of Go Dharmic.

His generosity made the night bright and guests open their wallets generously.

The occasion was a five-year anniversary event of Go Dharmic, and it received over 170 guests. With the theme of Garba for Good, the participants got live music, lively Garba dancing, a 100 per cent vegan meal, and a charity auction which demonstrated compassionate action.

Founder Hanuman Dass started the evening, reminding all of the mission of the charity to act with love. The soulful performance of Singer Mahavir Shah cheered up the spirit and created a prelude to the festivities of Navratri.

It makes me grateful to my heart, Hanuman Dass said, to see so many people dancing, celebrating and giving themselves selflessly. The Mumbai Gala demonstrates that compassion unites us to create a better world that is kind to all.

Ravichandran Ashwin, an Indian cricketer, donated a ball in cricket and paintings by Sheena Randerwala were also featured. UK, US and the international trading community supporters attended to have fun dancing garba and having a purpose by uniting sports, art, culture and charity.

Ex-MP Eric Ollerenshaw was added to the list of Keeya Khanna, Anissha Bharalawalaa, and Rajdeep Choudhary, highlighting the spirit of community and common cause.

Generous support of Go Dharmic was demonstrated by our CSR partners and donors: Uday Gosalia (USA), Rama Pillai (Singapore), Trading Technology, Rajeev Agrawal of ARB and the CME Group.

The name Go Dharmic is beautiful, replied actress Keeya Khanna. It makes us remember that we should come back to our origins, and, with such a cause as it is, I am really thankful to be here. It is just wonderful to watch like-minded individuals come together, enjoy Garba, and make a bid to the greater good. I believe in giving it back and this evening was the best example of that philosophy

The funds will enhance Go Dharmic global initiatives: feeding the hungry, education of children, planting trees, and providing relief to disaster-stricken and war-torn regions.

The charity supplies more than 50,000 meals in the UK every month, and is a pioneer in India, Nepal, Morocco, Lebanon, Uganda, Nigeria, Cuba, and Ukraine.
