David Beckham includes son Brooklyn in Father's Day post amid family tension
Washington DC [US], June 15 (ANI): Football star David Beckham, who has been made a Knighthood officially by King Charles II on Saturday (local time), owing to his significant contribution to both the game and charity, posted a series of cute photographs on his children on Father’s Day including a photograph of his eldest son, Brooklyn, despite there being strains in the family, reported People.
“My best / favourite job in life is being a dad... I am so proud of you all, and daddy (sorry boys) tells you every day I will be here always, just like you need me any time),” wrote David in the caption.
He even paid a tribute to his wife, Victoria Beckham, saying, “Mummy, thank you, doing the most important thing and making me a father there is no more important thing in life than making me a dad... Happy Father's Day... I care for you kids better than you would think.”
David and Victoria have three children (Harper, 13, and sons Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20). Reported People, David posted with his wife and sons with a hashtag to his daughter, who is not on Instagram.
He began the post with a throwback picture of his three sons with his daughter, being a newborn, and sitting on a couch. The series of images also contained a range of selfies with David and his children and one of them where he and Brooklyn stand with similar smiles on their faces.
In his Instagram Stories, he posted a picture of his three sons and said, “I love you boys.” The image was succeeded by a photograph of him and Harper, and it said, “Love you pretty lady.”
He also posted a picture of his four children and Victoria cuddling on a couch and captioned the photo, “My best present ever.”
In the meantime, Victoria did not stay behind as the mother of her happy family posted some photos and videos of their celebration on her Instagram. “Happy Father's Day to the best daddy in the world,” she wrote to her husband. “You are always a leader with love and our four beautiful children are a mirror of that. We all love you so so much!!”
The celebrations of the couple take place at a time when the Beckham family is experiencing a rift with a source telling in May that there are tensions between Brooklyn, his wife Nicola Peltz and the rest of the Beckham crew. The couple failed to attend the 50th birthday celebration of David in May.
Although the two have been particularly missing in the latest events of the Beckhams, the relationship is certainly not without salvaging. “They are loving and are never absent. They are merely wounded and frustrated that he is no longer contributing to family life in any fashion,” the source said at the time.
On June 14, Victoria published an Instagram post in honor of her husband being made a knight by King Charles. Coupled with a picture of the two old lovers embracing, the fashion designer has posted that “David has been my knight in shining armor.”
In the comments section of the post, David toasted his wife and children, saying, as per the outlet, “I love you all.”
Victoria spent Christmas this year on Instagram with a bunch of glamorous photos of her with husband David, their four children and a daughter-in-law by the name of Nicola Peltz Beckham, according to People. (ANI)
